David was born in Long Beach where he has spent most of his life building long treasured friendships. He continues to enjoy the convenience of being so close to the beach and only a 90 minutes’ drive from the local ski resorts. Most of all he loves the small town charm Long Beach offers.
David graduated from Long Beach Millikan High School where he played baseball all four years. His education continued at California State University Long Beach earning a degree in Human Development. He added to this experience by playing goalie for the CSULB Hockey team where they finished 2nd in the state in his freshman year.
David’s professional career includes teaching, automotive sales and most recent he was a real estate agent in Newport Beach specializing in luxury home sales. He most enjoyed assisting his clients to purchasing their forever home.
David was drawn to Green Hills after meeting with some of the staff members to discuss potential employment. He recognized this would be a very fulfilling career where his skills will be utilized by uplifting and easing the process for families making important end of life decisions.
David would tell you this doesn’t feel like typical work and instead the rewards include the gift of earning a living while also serving his community. It’s an opportunity not to be shrugged, but instead regarded as worthy.
His most memorable moment at Green Hills to date was the way he was welcomed by staff, his peers and the management team. He states he has never been surrounded by a group this supportive about not only the present, but the path of his future.
Hiking hills and walking through a forest touches an inner spirit and communing with nature allows David to decompress. Adding to this would be breaking bread with friends filled with laughter, music and good food is of the foremost to his happiness.
The many camping trips during his youth continues to fire his desire to return whenever possible. The outdoors, taking in the scenic views and panoramic mountains are unforgettable. David finds Colorado his preferred destination but one day looks forward to visiting Europe and fairly assessing the Alps to the Rockies.
