A South Bay native her entire life, LeAnne grew up in Manhattan Beach and attended Mira Costa High School. Her parents are originally from Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada and as a young girl she spent many memorable summers there visiting with her grandparents and numerous relatives. It remains today as a special place in her heart.
After high school, she continued her education earning a degree in Social Sciences with a minor in Management from the University of California Irvine. There she built her sisterhood of Delta Gamma friends which continues to be an important part of her life, highlighted by their annual trips.
LeAnne’s career began with Enterprise Rent a Car gaining quality experience in Sales, Marketing and HR Recruiting. Ten years later she decided to start a family and discovered the true joy of being a mother of three – two girls and a boy.
Once her children were older, LeAnne reentered the job place as a Sales Representative for four years before arriving at Green Hills Memorial Park.
LeAnne truly embraces the community events hosted by Green Hills and after 4 years as an Advance Planning Advisor she has become a recognized regular on both the Hay Ride and Sleigh Ride during the Harvest Festival and Let it Snow events. She is surely to get you in the spirit as she leads the group in singing seasonal songs.
LeAnne’s most heartwarming moment at Green Hills occurred when she watched her father and son walk the Vietnam Moving Wall during the Memorial Day Observance.
A natural trait of LeAnne is the willingness to help others and recognizing how she can accomplish this. She understands how life can have its challenges and her own determination has benefited those she has served at Green Hills. Experiencing the loss of close friends unexpectedly confirms LeAnne’s belief in wanting to assist others to ensure they have secured their final wishes.
LeAnne thoroughly enjoys everything the beach community has to offer and relishes the peaceful time walking along the beach or visiting with friends during a nice dinner in the Redondo Beach Village. From Bunco nights to quiet time at home surrounded by her children, LeAnne maximizes her relationships.
On Sundays she can be seen at Manhattan Beach Community Church where she has been involved for many years reinforcing her faith. It’s here where she has taught her children the value in volunteering time to those in need.
When traveling, LeAnne is more than content with a warm-sunny beach anywhere in the world and someday wishes to return to Europe and this time not with a backpack moving from youth hostel to youth hostel.
