Nina spent her formative years growing up in a small town called Vashon Island located in the Pacific Northwest about 30 minutes outside of Seattle. Her family eventually moved and settled in Westlake Village, CA where she attended Oaks Christian High School. Nina went on to earn an English degree with a minor in Film from Providence College in Providence, Rhode Island.
Nina worked in commercial TV production for 7 years while living in El Segundo and West LA. She began her career as an intern and over the course of her career worked up to her goal of becoming a Producer. Before she began her journey at Green Hills, she was the Bidding Producer at Bob Industries, compiling multi-million dollar budgets for nationwide commercials. She now resides in San Pedro and is confident it will be home for many years to come.
The decision to transition to Green Hills came with knowing the reputation of the park and the amazing staff. Nina has family members laid to rest within the park and felt a personal connection to helping other families arrange end of life plans.
Nina has been with Green Hills for over a year and remains motivated by the families and wonderful colleagues she works with. She greatly understands her role when working with families during such an emotional and sensitive time.
A highlight for Nina at Green Hills was participating in the annual Let It Snow Event. Nina assisted children and parents with the snow sledding and capturing picture moments as they went down the snow hill. Seeing their smiles and joy during the holiday season reinforced her decision that Green Hills was a true opportunity to be part of the South Bay community.
When not working, Nina is busy being a mom to her two-year old daughter and spending time with her husband and dog! She finds to for a balance in life, fitting in Pilates and work outs but admits time spent with her family (immediate or extended) is her biggest priority…especially if it’s spent enjoying a wonderful meal!
Nina enjoys traveling back to her home town, Vashon Island, for the Strawberry Festival in July and believes there is no place more beautiful to enjoy in the summertime. She hopes to make a trip in the future to Budapest to add to her list of world travels!
