Background
Originally from Torrance, Sheri has spent most of her adult years in nearby San Pedro. She’s a graduate of West Torrance High School and Biola University, completing a degree in Business Management.
After a brief period of employment with Hughes Aircraft – Radar Division, Sheri accepted a temporary position with Green Hills Memorial Park that has transformed to 25+ years with the company. From an Executive Assistant to her current position as a Family Service Advisor, Sheri has a very diverse wealth of knowledge.
Sheri and her husband, Pete, have been married since 2009.
The Green Hills Community
Sheri is proud of her “veteran” status as an Advisor and serving the South Bay community since 1991. She never imagined her career would revolve around assisting families with their final arrangements during a most difficult time. What she has come to love is the rewarding sensation of navigating people through an often confusing and overwhelming process. Her efforts provide hope and comfort to those grieving.
Off the Clock
For over 30 years, Sheri has remained involved with Rolling Hills Covenant Church serving on various Boards/Commissions. In addition, she has assisted with the Children’s Ministry and participates in the Disciple’s Bible Study Leadership program.
For four years, Sheri contributed time to the Hands of Mercy organization which builds loft homes then delivers them to the homeless in Mexico. When time provides for a breather she will find her way to the shores of Maui. Sheri hopes one day to visit Israel and Spain.
